What this site is

Ecom Market Data publishes structured datasets on ecommerce marketplaces: gross merchandise value, seller counts, pricing and category trends.

The goal is simple. Most ecommerce numbers floating around are undated, unsourced or copied from each other. This site exists to publish numbers you can check, cite and compare over time.

Principles

• Every dataset is dated.
• Every dataset names its market and period.
• Estimates are labelled as estimates.
• Corrections are visible, not silent.
